I Finally Found a Way to Learn Coding That Makes Sense

I’ve tried learning to code many times, and it’s been rough.

Most of the websites and videos I found felt like they were made for people who already knew how to code. They’d jump straight into complicated stuff without explaining why things work or just throw a bunch of code at me and expect it to magically make sense. Some sites were so badly designed that just navigating through a lesson was frustrating.

I kept thinking, “Is it just me? Am I not cut out for this?”

But recently, I gave it one more shot — and this time, I tried Khan Academy. And it’s actually been great.

The videos are simple, clear, and easy to follow. They walk you through the basics step by step, and they explain things in a way that clicks. It doesn’t feel overwhelming or rushed. Plus, the website itself is clean and super user-friendly — no clutter, no confusing menus.

For the first time, I feel like I’m getting it. I'm starting to understand how code works, not just copying what someone else is doing.

If you’ve had a hard time learning to code like I did, don’t give up. Sometimes you just need the right kind of teacher — and for me, Khan Academy is that teacher.
