So today when I went outside, I noticed there was something in our garden. When I went over to investigate, I noticed there was a very large what looked like a fungus or a mold. I did a little bit of research and it turns out it's a slime mold. If you don't know what that is, a slime mold is not a mold and it's not an animal. It's its own category of thing. Basically it's a mold but it moves like an organism but really really slowly. It's its own type of thing and it's really cool. I haven't done very much research into it so I can't describe it exactly but it's super cool. We have two of them and I can see a third one growing but it's orange and huge and it's really cool.
