Camping with our church group.

We have just returned from Scott’s Flat Reservoir, where we went camping with our church community. This is what happened during this weekend,

There are about ten parking places and tent sites near it. We chose the center location as our headquarters, where we spent time playing board games at night.

On Saturday, we went with the kayaks to the lake park and played volleyball. There is a rope swing opposite, and we decided to hike to it. However, the track ends all of a sudden, making it necessary to walk in mud knee-deep, filled with weeds and floating trees.

Nobody was ready to return on foot through the swamp. Some of our fellows who came in kayaks helped others return using the boats, while the rest of the group looked for another way back, which did not exist. They had to swim through most of the journey.

We got back to the campsite and roasted some s’mores, played more board games, and played Sardines when it became dark.

We finished the journey by organizing a church meeting in the forest, accompanied by songs and preaching, and by loading everything into the trucks and returning home.
